If you are looking for a book that will definitely help you pass the PMP exam - this is it.
There are typically three methods used to pass the PMP exam:
Study the PMBOK and study guides (such as this book)
Study the PMBOK and the Suite of PMP books offered by PMI
Cram for a few days, get the PMI jargon down and ”wing it” based on your current PM background
I used method number
one. I read the PMBOK numerous times and took as many practice tests
as I could. (The ESI Study Guide contains many practice tests.) This
particular study guide helped me see possible questions beyond the
PMBOK. It gave me insight in knowledge areas in which more study was
required. This book is easy to read since it is written in a
question/answer format. There are excellent explanations of how
answers were derived. Additionally, the Guide asks key questions in
each PMBOK knowledge area. This method brings out new aspects of key
PMBOK concepts.
Thumbs Up!
