If you are looking for a book that will definitely help you pass the PMP exam – this is it.
There are typically three methods used to pass the PMP exam:
Study the PMBOK and study guides (such as this book).
Study the PMBOK and the Suite of PMP books offered by PMI.
Cram for a few days, get the PMI jargon down and “wing it” based on your current PM background.
I used method number one. I read the PMBOK numerous times and took as many practice tests as I could. (The PMBOK Q&A book contains many practice tests.) The best thing about this particular study guide is that it uses the exact terms used in the PMBOK. Definitions, inputs outputs, and tools & techniques are taken directly from the PMBOK. Getting the PMBOK jargon in front of you as often as possible is key in preparing the PMP exam.
This book is also
handy in that it fits nicely in a purse or pocket. Whenever you have
a free moment – sitting in a traffic jam or waiting inline at
the store, you can study. Keep this study guide in a convenient place
to help you in your PMP pursuit.
Thumbs Up!
