Management, Communications Management, Risk Management, and
Procurement Management
The PMP Exam Prep book by Rita Mulcahy, PMP, contains 167 pages of review material, exercises, games and sample exams toaid youwith your PMP study. The book was designed to decrease your study time, and provide clear , concise information needed to prepare for the PMP exam.
The format of the book was easy to follow and was ordered along the same lines as the PMBOK. Each chapter of the book gave you an introduction paragraph, a “Hot Topics” section which listed topics that Rita Mulcahy considered to be important, review materials that contain exercises, activities, games, pictures and tips to help you prepare for the test. A sample exam also was included at the end of each chapter.
The book is a great study tool when preparing for the PMP exam, however, I don’t believe that you should use it as your sole source of study. The sample exams are very basic and may give you a false sense of your level of understanding and readiness for the PMP exam.
Overall, the book is well worth the $89.00. It is
easily comprehended, reduces your study time, and has a lot of good
tips to aid you in passing the exam. The book can be ordered via the
RMC web site http://www.rmcproject.com.
Thumbs Up! (Especially if you are studying for the
PMP exam)
