About the Speaker

Cindy McPherson, PMP, is a Program Manager at EDS. Ms. McPherson has over 19 years of experience in Program and Project Management, leading programs/projects and consulting in the manufacturing, consumer products and information technology industries. She served as an Adjunct Professor in Project Management at multiple universities at both graduate and undergraduate levels. She has published and presented papers on project management in various forums.

Ms. McPherson recently concluded six years of service as a Project Management Institute (PMI) board-appointed Member-at-Large for the Certification Governance Council and Chair of the PMP Credential Committee. She served two years as the Chair of the former PMI Certification Board, leading a significant effort to develop Strategic Intents for PMI's Enterprise Certification Program.
